I am at a loss that Obagi Elastilash is getting such low reviews. I have had incredibly results using it. I have been using it just over 7 weeks now. I've had amazing lengthening of my eyelashes and they are fuller. I've also used it to thicken up and fill in my over waxed eyebrows with amazing results too! I was surprised by the negative reviews. I've used Jan Marini, LiLash (worked for my brown-eyed daughter but i stopped after hearing it could affect the color of my blue eyes), Revitalash. Nothing worked-or came side effects like dry flaky eyelid skin or threat of eyecolor change. I purchased Elastilash from a medspa and it did take about 4 weeks, but WOW! it definately thickened and lengthened my lashes and seems to have darkened them a bit too-all without irritating my eyes (and i have ocular rosacea so everything usually affects my eyes). It filled in the spots where my eyelashes had broken off due to 3 rounds of eyelash extensions. Even my husband noticed my lashes! My dermatologist advised me to get this Obagi product over Latisse because it will thicken my lashes, but not make them longer (my lashes are very long to begin with)(and it is half the price of Latisse). She was right on! She also told me it will take about 12 weeks to see results if I use it once a day or 6 weeks if I use it twice a day. I have used it twice a day for 3-4 weeks now and already have fantastic results. This is the first Obagi product I have tried and would now like to try more. The disadvantages would be that you cannot use it on your bottom lashes or eyebrows as I have read you can do with some other products on the market. Next time I will probably try one of those, but if they don't work I will go right back to Elastilash. Also no side effects at all. I hope they never take this off the market! |
